This is our go to Mexican restaurant. The food is consistently good and predictable. We love starting off with the chips. The salsa is good (and a little spicy warm). We love both the queso and the guacamole. We special order our meal each time and they've always gotten it correctly. I always get the Jalisco fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. My husband cannot eat green bell peppers, so we always get extra onions and no peppers. Their rice is good, but we both like the beans better. so we typically get double beans instead of beans and rice. We typically get the dinner portion for 2. We ALWAYS leave with a very full to go box when we get the dinner for 2. Today, I got the lunch portion and my husband got combo meal #13. He wasn't very thrilled with the Chile rellano. He said it was pretty bland and had quite a few seeds still in it. He said the enchilada and burrito were good but not excellent. The fajitas are ALWAYS excellent. The lunch portion was considerably smaller than the dinner portion, but it was plenty big-even for a man sized appetite. The dinner portion is big enough to share. The service is always good. Today, there were very few customers during the off hour we were there. The restaurant and restrooms were both clean. Service is always prompt. Prices are better than the bigger chain restaurants. Often Kroger has a coupon on the back of their receipts. They have a rewards program where they punch your card at every visit. They have a full service bar but we rarely get a drink. Overall, this is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area by far. We've never ever had bad food or poor service.

Late night eats and drinks. Not crowded for a Friday night. Drinks were good and not to strong. (My preference) service was friendly and courteous. Orders were taken quickly... our food came out fast and was hot and fresh. So this night was a pretty good one. We will return. Also, I like the Hacks Cross location for the all you-can-eat lunch buffet. A+

We come here quite a bit. I've never had bad service or bad food. The churros are my favorite dessert in this town! Very good and taste just like home (San Diego- where they KNOW how to make a churro).

Great staff, friendly staff. Great service, from waiters. Always fast and very friendly servers, even if ya don't know Spanish. Great atmosphere!!!!

What a shame. Everything that was, has gone down the drain here. Too much riff-raff abusing the restaurant I guess. Breaking News - if you order Nachos - the chips will get soggy after you have eaten half the plate...frankly, It's what eating nachos is all about. I'm sorry but 'The Manager' needs to have a back bone and tell it like it is. Maybe these leaches would go somewhere else. But what do I know.
